App Review: Keepy app – Digitally recording my kids’ artwork
My kids really really love to make art and they are wonderfully creative, but I find it hard to throw any away and yet I cannot display every single paper. So when I found Keepy app on instagram I was very intrigued. I downloaded it and very quickly set up my kids’ profiles.
How the app works is you set up each kids’ profile and then you can start taking pictures of their artwork. Unlike just taking a picture and saving it to your phone, Keepy app let’s you add details like notes, categories, times and dates, place, video or audio along with the picture.
Another fun feature of Keepy app is you can add in fans, which means you can add in family members or close friends that want updates on what your kids are up to. This is so great for us as a lot of our family lives far away from us. My mother in law is all the way in England and as much as she likes to keep up with us on Facebook, Keepy has it all organzied in the app along with having the options to order photo products straight from the app.
I’ve been using this app now for over 2 months and I’ve been saving pics on it almost everyday and this way I show the kids I’m saving it and then I’m able to pack away their creations with all my mementos I save over the years. The app itself is free but you can upgrade to Keepy Unlimited for $9.99 a year which gives you unlimited photos, 50% off any photo products along with quality backups, and more ways to share and organize with in the app.
